About Us
Service & Precision Machining for the Compression Industry
Founded in 2010 by Walt Tonge and John Hudson, AIM provides skilled field service support and precision machining for the midstream gas compression industry. From day one, our work has been grounded in safety, craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
AIM has earned a reputation for consistent performance both in the field and in the shop. Our technicians are equipped to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain compressor systems with accuracy and attention to detail. In our machining and rebuild facility, we restore components to exact specifications, ensuring reliable performance and extended equipment life.
As the industry evolves, we continue to invest in our people, our equipment, and the capabilities that drive dependable results — today and for the long haul.

Our Story
AIM started as a precision machine shop, rebuilding engine components and critical wear parts. Over time, we expanded into valve repair and manufacturing, plasma spray and coating services, cylinder liner work, and anodizing. We also developed partnerships that strengthened our pump and compressor make-ready operations.
What began as a repair shop has evolved into a full-capability support and machining operation designed to keep compression equipment running reliably in the field.
